DR N RAMASUBRAMANYAN M.Com., Ph.D., M.B.A., FCS., ACCA., B.L., PGDPM., B.Ed
Dr N Ramasubramanyan, son of Late T S Natesa Iyer and Janbahalakshmi, Founder Correspondent and Chairman of the school, a multi faceted personality, a stalwart in the corporate world, educationalist and an eminent writer. Born in Chennai, he was brought up in Chidambaram and had his school education at Arumuga Navalar School, Chidambaram. He pursued B.Com at Annamalai University and continued his education in different Universities and Institutions and obtained other higher degrees and diplomas.
He started his career in SPIC Group Company, then worked as Asst. Professor of Commerce, New College, University of Madras. Later he became the Financial Controller and Company Secretary, Senior General Manager (Corporate Affairs) in a Foundry company of Seshasayee Group and also became the Managing Director of an export-oriented Granite company of the same group. Later, he became the President and Secretary of a very big Composite Textile Mill.

Since 1995
About 21 years ago, Dr N Ramasubramanyan, started Shri Natesan Vidyasala Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Mannivakkam Village near Tambaram, Chennai, which secured ISO 9001: 2008 quality certification, first in the Kanchipuram District and recently got the International School Award from British Council, United Kingdom, for blending Internationalism as a part of Curriculum. This famous school that started as a small Gurukulam with 80 children and 11 staff members, has about 4000 student on its roll now. The school attracts students from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. The school has acted as a catalyst and has transformed this sleepy village Mannivakkam into a vibrant place. The school is a pioneer to define and practice 'Institutional Governance' and 'Institutional Social Responsibility' on par with Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Our Chairman's Achievements So far....
DR N RAMASUBRAMANYAN, Founder of the school, received his 3rd Doctorate from France University. Recently he received the Asia-Pacific Achiever Award, at an international conference held at Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, recently, for his significant contribution in the fields of corporate management, economics, education, law and as a freelance writer. He has travelled extensively within India and abroad and has vast knowledge and experience in finance, law, export-import, labour and general management, education, economics, environment and social work. He has written several articles in leading newspapers and magazines and spoken in various national and international forums and also in many television channels. He has authored several books in Tamil and English. Two of his books in Tamil 'Maalatheve Nee Maraivayoo' and 'Thattum Thavalaye Nee Thapuvayoo,' received the Best Environmental Books from the Government of Tamilnadu. He has also received the Best Teacher Award 'Dr. Radhakrishnan Award,' from the Government of Tamilnadu.

Our Principal
Dr N Ramasubramanyan is ably assisted in his endeavors by his daughter Dr. [Mrs.] Gayathri Ramachandran, who is the Principal and Assistant Correspondent of the school. She, holds Masters Degree in Financial Management and in Education, Doctorate in Education, Higher Diploma in Software Engineering and Diploma in School Administration, from Wisconsin University, USA.

He continued his education in different Universities and Institutions and obtained other higher degrees and diplomas. Started his career in a SPIC group company in the shipping department, with specialisation in accounts and taxation. Then worked as an Asst. Professor of Commerce, New College, Madras University for sometime. Later worked in a leading export oriented leather and shoe making company as Financial controller and Company Secetary. Thereafter, he worked as the Senior General Manager (Corporate Affairs) and Company Secretary in a leading alloy steel foundry Of Seshasayee group and also the Managing Director of an export-oriented granite factory of the same group for some time. Later, he worked as the President and Secretary of a very big Composite Textile Mill. Later, he worked as the President & Secretary of a very big Composite Textile Mill . He was also a labour union leader in an industrial group.

Dr N Ramasubramanyan has travelled extensively within India and abroad, has vast knowledge and experience in finance, law, export-import, labour and general management, education, economics, environment and social work.
He has written several articles in leading newspapers and magazines and spoken in various national and international forums. He is a panelist in several TV programs on topics of paramount importance.
He has secured many national awards for his contribution in Education, Environment, Economics, including Outstanding Economist, Life Time Achievement, Best writer on Environment from the TamilNadu Government. He also got the Tamil Nadu Government's Best Teacher Award.
He is presently, a Management, Legal Consultant, Educationalist and a Freelance Writer.
His Respect and Gratitude to his Almamater
Sri Arumuga Navalar, greatest scholar in Tamil and champion of Saivam from Sri Lanka, established Sri Arumuga Navalar School to impart a very high quality, value based education in 1864. The Founder of Shri Natesan Vidyasala, Dr N Ramasubarmanyan, a former student of Navalar School, in memory of Sri Arumuga Navalar, built a huge state-of-the-art 2000 seater AC Auditorium at Shri Natesan Vidyasala "Yazhpaanam Nallur Thavathiru Arumuga Navalar Auditorium" to show his immense gratitude to his Alma Mater. The Auditorium was inaugurated by nonagenarian National Best Teacher Awardee and Retd Headmaster of Arumuga Navalar School, Shri K Swaminathan.
