About 25 Grade 6 to 12 students and teachers of Shri Natesan Vidyasala MHSSS, Mannivakam, were invited for an informal interactive session with the Hon’ble British High Commissioner, Sir Dominic Asquith, Deputy High Commissioner, Jeremy Pilmore-Bedford and Janaka Pushpanathan, Head - British Council.
There are over 2,500 schools in India that are associated with the ISA project. Shri Natesan Vidyasala was given the opportunity to present their ISA journey, to interact with the delegates from UK. Owing to the continuous engagement of the ISA model, the school have been able to achieve this great milestone.
Dr Gayathri Ramachandran, Principal presented Shri Natesan's achievements on the global scale, and how the school carried out each international interaction, the challenges that they faced, and the support system that was extended by each of the stakeholders of the school. The Vice Principal, Anandhi Mani, highlighted the impacts that the ISA projects have brought about in the way of teaching, such as how the teachers benefitted from the passion, know-how and quality with which British Council delivered their educational programs and services and how it has spread deep into their faculty.
The confidence with which the students presented about several international interactions were highly remarkable which was followed by interaction between students, teachers and the Hon'ble British High Commissioner to India. The Hon'ble British Commissioner and Hon'ble Deputy British Commissioner highly appreciated the students enthusiasm and spontaneity.
This event was in recognition of the continuous International activities taken by the school in the last 8 years.
