Dental care awareness session at Shri Natesan Vidyasala MHSS

It is universally accepted that "Smile is a curve that makes our life straight" . Good smile is possible only when there is good dental alignment. Students of Shri Natesan Vidyasala, Mannivakam, attended a dental awareness program conducted by Capparris Nest .Dr .Sakthivel Rajendran, Chief Pedodontist of " Thirty Two dental " and Dr. Prabhu Theja, Consultant pedodontist addressed the students. Various dental health care domains right from proper way of brushing, healthy snacks and intake of proper food. Video on dental hygiene was shown to students for better understanding. Technical aspects on layers of teeth, cavity and filling, materials used for filling and root canal treatment were discussed at length. Preventive methods of dental cleaning and annual dental check up were insisted. Concession coupons for dental checkup were also distributed to the student participants. " I care the least for my teeth but this session was an eye-opener and I begin to realised that most of the dental issues that crop up as we age can be prevented just with proper care and dietary habits " said a student participant.
