Tamil Literary Association Function

The Tamil literary association function was held at Shri Natesan Vidyasala MHSS., Mannivakkam, in a very colourful manner.

The entire function was organised by the students of the school, who showed great interest and enthusiasm in exhibiting their talents in the ancient global language namely Tamil.

In the welcome address, S. Sakthi Priya of Class IX, quoted extensively from Thirukural, poems of Bharathi and also the contributions made by Thamizh Thatha U Ve Swaminatha Iyer. Dr N Ramasubramanyan, founder of the school, in his brief speech, mentioned about the greatness of Tamil.

Thiru. Ila. Ganesan, founder of the Tamil literary organisation “POTRAMARAI” spoke about the values of education, with reference to ancient sanga ilakiyam and the modern tamil literature.

Thiru. R B V S Maniyan, a brilliant orator in Tamil, highlighted the significant contributions made by Tamil in the field of Indian independence struggle and also spreading spiritualism.

The book titled “Value Education” authored by R B V S Maniyan, was released by Thiru. Ila Ganesan and the first copy of the book was received by Dr N Ramasubramanyan. N Madhivadani of Class IX, proposed a vote of thanks.
