Super Moon Observation

Shri Natesan Vidyasala MHSS, Mannivakkam, organized the Supermoon Observation along with Space India, on 14.11.2016 from 6pm to 8 pm. Presentations about the 'Super Moon Phenomenon' were given by the Space India, which was followed by the 'Sky Observation' session. Few telescopes were aligned to facilitate over 700 participants including students, parents, teachers and public, who had lined up in a big queue to witness the phenomenon. The student volunteers of class 11 and few teachers of the school organised the event along with SPACE India volunteers. It is pertinent to mention that this full moon was not only the closest and brightest supermoon of 2016 but also the largest since 1948.
